Prospecting of Food Brands for Healthy Food Certification Program

Nutritious food can support our well being. Many foods products are ultraprocessed and unhealthy. Through our certification program, we endeavour to score the healthiness index of food and to help consumers make more informed choices of the foods they purchase for them and their families. Our mission is to lead a transformative, disruptive movement that inspires consumers to get back to eat truly healthy foods. The students will learn how to create metrics to qualify and short list food brands. They will develop an outreach process for the short listed food brands and will have an opportunity to work with our team to create resources to drive engagement and interest. We would like to equip our BD team with a short list of possible brands that are interested in being certified.

Peqish Culinary Medicine Social Media Strategy and Campaign

According to the Lancet, one of the most respected medical journals in the world, poor quality diets are deemed to be a greater risk to human welfare than unsafe sex, drugs, alcohol and tobacco use combined ( Willett et al (2019) Lancet 393:447-492 ). That means that what we eat causes more issues than what we have grown up fearing. There’s so much awareness about tobacco and drug use, but where is the awareness about what we put in our mouths? And what is being done to change it? Social media has the potential to educate however there are so many non-qualified health advocates and influencers misinforming the public on what’s healthier for them. At Peqish, it’s our mission to lead a transformative movement that inspires people to get back to eating truly healthy foods. We know that nutritious food is medicine, it is restorative and contributes to your well-being. To support our mission, we've brought together a Health and Wellness Advisory Board with 200+ years of clinical and scientific experience in the understanding of food sensitivities and its impact on health to bring the knowledge together to promote this necessary change. We need your help to develop a social media strategy that we can leverage as an organization to educate the consumer on what is being put into their foods, how misinformation influences poor food choices, and what it means to deliver culinary medicine inspired foods to consumer . The anticipated outcomes are: Develop social media strategy for a full calendar year. Please note that campaigns should focus on post-secondary students. Deploy, test, refine/optimize messaging to achieve the goals listed above in bold. Resources. Upon selection, all existing marketing resources will be made available.

Automation of Sales Cycle Proces

To become more efficient and effective in liaising with new customers and managing the sales process, we need to automate the existing workflow. We would like improve elements of our website and drive SEO ranking to create more leads. With this, we also want to equip our sales team with a qualified leads list, a sales management tool, and an set of email and short text based messages that allow us to manage the entire customer experience and sales process. The project may include, but is not limited to: Adding new pages to our existing websites (www.peqish.com and www.projecthealthyhuman.ca); Improving SEO ranking to drive traffic; Creating clickable product category tabs, and a searchable map function; Improving website Ux/UICreating a qualified leads list from an existing directory; . Developing 4 email and text messages focused on the connection, introduction, scheduling of a meeting. Supporting our IT department with the implementation of a CRM tool with testing outeach; The final project deliverable will be: Qualified Leads list with phone number and email addresses 3 Scripted Email and Text Messages Outcomes measures from Email Campaign to determine if messaging requires refinement. Social Enterprise B-Corporation Certification Plan

To achieve B-Corporation certification, our company must receive a minimum score on social and environmental performance. This is an online assessment that is overseen by the independent body that certifies B-Corporations (the B Lab). The assessment covers our entire operations and measures our impact in governance, workers, community, the environment, as well as our products and services. We also must integrate sustainability commitments to stakeholders into our governing documents. Scope of Work: An assessment of our current score, which will allow us to identify our areas for improvement. You will leverage the on-line portal to evaluate Peqish's current score. You will assess the score in relationship to other companies, score the latter of which is available on-line. You will create a summary of your findings and present those to management, Management will pick an area that needs improvement and will have you focus on that area to create a plan to how to improve Peqish's score in that area. The final project deliverable is a written report detailing the bullet points from above.
