Details

The main goal of this project is to ensure ODLAN is WCAG 2.0 compliant. This is part one of a two-part project. Part one involves reviewing, assessing, and providing feedback on ODLAN's platforms. After creating the WCAG 2.0 checklist, the student will identify any areas of improvement. Our social media pages, website, and primary educational resources will be a part of this review. Part two of this project will involve supporting our team with implementing the feedback and making changes to our platforms and educational materials to ensure they are accessible.

Deliverables

Part 1 (this project)

1. Develop the accessibility review checklist using WCAG 2.0 guidelines

2. Assess our website, social media platforms, and educational resources using the accessibility review checklist.

3. Provide a Strengths, Weaknesses, and Opportunities report to share key findings and solutions.

Part 2 (Next Project)

1. Work collaboratively with the ODLAN team to incorporate key solutions identified in phase one.

2. Assist in updating and modifying social media posts, educational materials, and other public resources on our website to ensure they are accessible. This includes but is not limited to, infographics, short videos, and webinars.

Mentorship

Successful candidates will receive mentorship from our core team & will have access to the appropriate technologies needed for the project.
