We have a start-up called Shoptaki that is building new type of technology called Smartchain, it takes the concept of blockchain to the next level by utilizing collaborative A.i to not only make the system dynamic but also analyze and automate many processes. The system has wide range use cases: Decentralized Identity management, KYC, quantum encryption, predictive analytics, automation, the possibilities are endless with the Smartchain technology.

This startup is currently bootstrapped and seeking to build a team to help make Smartchain a reality.

We are looking for highly creative people who can think beyond conventional wisdom, likes to create cool stuff, want to make an impact on this world.

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (6) computer science (Full Stack), Network Software Developer or Ui/UX designer students or teams.

The primary focus for the student will be any of these projects that they choose:

Projects: You will get the opportunity to work on different projects where you can apply your creativity.

1. Payment System - you will be dealing in a wide range of areas from cross-border transactions to possibly Crypto transactions.
2. SmartId - think of this as a universal ID where you have control of your data and can be used anywhere. Initial MVP will be Vaccine passport, travel boarding pass and Student ID.This will be both Mobile and Web application
3. Smartchain- We are building a new type of technology that integrates Collaborative AI to make a truly intelligent network that would address all the issues of Blockchain. We don't Deal in blocks but in Data Packets
4. Web Development - improveing current website and creating new website
5. Medical and Organisational portal - this would be part of the smartid project but for organizations to manage smartids while it be primarly for MEdical we would want it dynamic that it can be used by any industry.

Fullstack- Prefered experience in Django and javascript. If have React native and nodejs knowledge that be great. Students will also get their hands on Arango DB which is a graph DB. In addition be working on AWS for deployment. We will be using Docker and Kubernetes as part of the tech stack.

Network Software Developer - Must have knowledge in C Language, TCP, HTTP, creating packets, and Linux. If having knowledge in Distributed networks or blockchain that be good as well.

UI/UX - Must have reacted native skillsets or react js.

• Software Architecture Development - Architecting the software of a new and existing product; improving the architecture of an existing system;
  

Our goal at the end of this experience is: To have students work with a bootstrapped startup and understand unlike a corporate environment, a startup environment will require to help get organized, wear multiple different hats to help achieve goals.

Our overall goal is to try to get MVP out to the public since we believe it can have a positive social impact especially with the covid situation, we want to help countries be able to open borders fully and for the healthcare system to have a fully interoperable network where they are able to treat patients much more efficiently. People should have full control of their data, not corporations.

Other duties the student may complete could include: (indicate other duties as exemplified below)

• Software vendor research and evaluation
• Technical documentation
• Assisting with other process improvement projects
• QA testing

We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Email, Slack, or phone

Students will have progress meeting with CEO 2 times a week while their will have their own meetings with Shoptaki team when it comes to objectives and development. They will be coordinating with different groups and be provided tutorials and will have their own research to apply to the work they are doing. They will be able to communicate with CEO anytime and be able to brainstorm or ask questions as well.
